A Presentation of History and Culture
Offering an in-depth presentation of Dallas County’s cultural, political and social roots, Legacy Dallas shares the individual stories that make up our history. Through dynamic educational experiences, we go beyond the artifacts to bring Dallas County’s legacy to life.
From the Native Americans, to the pioneers who settled along the Trinity River, to the post-war entrepreneurs who influenced our economic success, we present a dynamic picture of Dallas history.
Our online exhibits present the stories and artifacts of the former Old Red Museum of Dallas County History and Culture. We invite you to explore these stories by engaging with our virtual exhibits.
